Currently the Ishihara test is the best known color blindness test.
It consists of a number of colored plates, each of which contains a circle of dots appearing randomized in color and size.
Almost all of the color blind people have problems distinguishing red and green colors.
There is another color vision deficiency, blue/yellow, but it's extremely rare and currently there are no tests for it.
